Description:
Turufjell is a modern leisure destination with cottage plots and a ski center located on the sunny side of Flå - first in Hallingdal. The area covers approx. 13,700 square meters and allows for the development of approx. 2,000 cabins. The plan also allows for the establishment of a downtown area with, among other things, shops, apartments, hotels and resorts. With this, the Turufjell plan is probably the largest that has been adopted in Norway ever. Turufjell is located between 650 masl. to 1,000 masl All area that is above 1,000 masl. are free areas that belong to Flå Østre Grunneierlag, with a total of 140,000 goals. With Flå municipality as a strong supporter and partner, arrangements are being made for public water and sewage to all the cabins on Turufjell.
