Softly nestled between forested mountains next to the river is Älvsbyn and approx. 4 km from the center of Älvsbyn you will find Kanis leisure area. Here you will find, among other things, the resort's slalom slope, several trails for cross-country skiing, the Canis restaurant and Kanisbackens Camping.
