Ounasvaara Ski Resort is located almost in the centre of the city of Rovaniemi. From the Northern side of Ounasvaara mountain, you’ll find a modern Outdoor resort where you can downhill ski, snowboard, or ski while enjoying the international atmosphere. Ounasvaara’s slopes are suitable for both beginners and professionals.

Summer is also a great time to visit Ounasvaara. You can ride marked downhill cycling tracks, or mountain bike track and also trek along the marked paths. If you didn’t bring your own cyclocross, mountain or downhill bike, you can hire a bike at the equipment rental centre. There are also popular fat bikes available, both in children’s sizes and as electric bikes for adults. An optional route app can be hired at the equipment rental centre to help navigate both marked and unmarked hiking and cycling routes. Kids can drive either the downhill car track or the dirt bike track, which is one of the best ways for young riders to learn bike control.
