Vrådal Skisenter, Norway
Description:
Vrådal is a village in Kviteseid municipality in Telemark. The town itself is located where Vråvatn empties into Nisser. The economic basis is tourism (hotels, camping, cabins and ski center), small industry and some forestry.
The name probably comes from the Old Norse «vrá / ró» which means «ro / krok», often used about farms that were a bit remote. The name can also come from the fact that the valley makes a turn, ie is crooked.
